After completing his residency, he worked as a specialist physician in 1998. In 2000, he resumed his work as a chief assistant at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital. Between 2000 and 2006, he continued his medical career as a general surgery specialist and deputy chief physician at Trabzon Fatih Regional Hospital. After 2006, Gökmen ÖZTÜRK, who had worked as an associate physician at Medipol University and Nisa Hospital, also joined the MEDENLive Healthcare Group. After receiving extensive advanced training in the field of medicine, ÖZTÜRK successfully performed the first laparoscopic colon resection, laparoscopic reflux surgery, and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair in the Black Sea region in 2002.
